Committees and Caucuses

Representative Handel serves on both the House Judiciary Committee, and the House Education and the Workforce Committee.

The House Judiciary Committee has jurisdiction over some of the most consequential issues facing this country and the Sixth District, including protecting Constitutional freedoms; defending civil liberties; overseeing legal and regulatory reform; developing innovation, competition and anti-trust laws; and working towards immigration reform.

As a member of the Judiciary Committee, Karen can focus on protecting private property and Second Amendment rights; securing our borders with prudent, pragmatic immigration reform; and strengthening our criminal laws.
