Rep. Handel Congratulates Students Nominated to Military Service Academies
ROSWELL, GA - U.S. Representative Karen Handel announced United States Military Service Academy nominations for students in Georgia's Sixth Congressional District. Each year, members of Congress are granted 10 nominations per academy, while each respective Academy grants the final appointment.
"The Sixth produced an extraordinary group of candidates for our nation’s military academies this year,” Rep. Handel said. “This is one of the responsibilities I have relished the most during my time in Washington, and I'm so proud of these young men and women for their willingness to serve this country. I wish them all the best of luck as they go forward in this process."
